So, you’ve certainly heard of ‘Koffee with Karan’ that fantastic show featuring maverick filmmaker Karan Johar and his endless parade of friends and film family talking about their innermost feelings and personal secrets. OK, well now move over Karan because you’ve created a monster! You thought Tarun Mansukhani was going to simply stick to making movies like ‘Dostana’ and soon ‘Dostana 2′, but thanks to the folks at AVS TV, he has now branched out into talk-show territory and spawned his own version of the talk show. ‘Koffee with Karan’ meet ‘Tea with Tarun’. First stop: hunkville with John Abraham.

OK, so maybe I’m jumping the gun and this will be a one-time only deal this weekend on AVS (Saturday in and around NYC or next week for everyone else around the world) but from what I hear - by EXTREMELY reliable sources very, very close to the show - Mansukhani has done such a great job interviewing his buddy John Abraham that if the inspiration to make ‘Dostana 8′ ever fails him - I swear, he mentioned that number when I recently interviewed him! - he could always choose a career in TV hosting instead.

Mansukhani describes why he cast Abraham as “John I had never met before and when I met him for the first time it was like a Karmic connection” while Abraham decided to do ‘Dostana’ because “I just read the script and laughed a lot. I thought, if I laugh so much, the audience is going to laugh too”. A match made in heaven! 

If you need any convincing about watching ‘Tea with Tarun’, then the image above of John steaming out of a hot teacup, like a modern-day Genie should really quench any remaining doubts, pardon my pun… So, watch it this Saturday on AVS and learn what makes the stylishly hot Abraham and the intelligently sexy Mansukhani tick… Hey, I recently met the two and I can vouch for my words!
