For Your Holiday Shopping

This week, I’m all about finding ideas for good Xmas gifts and holiday shopping. I typically don’t have a lot of people on my list but those few and choice friends deserve the very best. I’m stuffing everyone’s stockings with copies of Rula Jebreal’s book Miral and I suggest you do the same. Simply DIVINE! But then, for the girls in my close circle of beloveds, I need some fineries and golden trinkets. That’s where The Madder Hatters and Charmco come in very, very handy.

First things first, we’ll start with something that has a bit of a time limit on it. This coming weekend, my friend Belle – a super photographer and artist extraordinaire – is selling some exquisite hats. She and her milliner friend Diana King will be featured in two holiday sales that are bound to be totally sold out. But no worries, since the talented duo will also be taking special orders, all to be delivered before the holidays arrive.

WHAT: The Madder Hatters 2010 Holiday Collection – Fancy Feathers, Fur and Finery
WHERE: Church of Heavenly Rest Holiday Bazaar, Fifth Avenue at 90th Street, NYC
WHEN: December 3 – 10 am to 7 pm, December 4 – 10 am to 5 pm.

And also:

WHERE: Le Shopping at The Stissing House, Intersection Rte 82 and Rte 199, Pine Plains, New York
WHEN: December 3 – 5:30 pm to 8 pm, December 4 and 5 – Noon to 6 pm

Visit Belle McIntyre and Diana King and let them help you find the perfect Christmas gifts for those on your list or for yourself from their collection. Custom orders can be taken in time for Christmas.

Then, for the special BFF on your list, or maybe your fabulous Mom or delightful sister, there is a new site in town and this will make for one Charm-ing Holiday season! Indeed, charms bracelets are back and they’ve never been so cute as these ones by Charmco. There are choices for the foodies, the pet lovers, the new moms, the fashionistas and even the jet-setters among you, and your friends of course. Because the charms are all 14K gold, don’t expect them to be super-cheap, but it will make for an amazing surprise under that luxe Christmas tree. These days, gift should be for keep, not the kind that gets recycled or simply disposed of after a year. Next week, I’ll try to find the cheaper alternatives, promise, but this week is all about going for the best! N-joy!
