The Giant Mechanical Man Opens in NYC (and soon Detroit)

The Giant Mechanical Man was one of the narrative films that I wanted to watch at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. I’m glad I did because it redefined romance for me. The film opens Friday, April 27th in NYC, at Village East Cinema, with selected Q & A sessions featuring the film’s star and producer Jenna Fischer and her husband (and GMM filmmaker) Lee Kirk.

After meeting with Kirk, the writer and director of the film, I wrote a little ditty about the “Five Lessons in Passion” I learned from The Giant Mechanical Man on the Huffington Post and honestly, I’m looking at all my fellow humans much differently these days… But again, that may have been this outrageously packed schedule at TFF which led me to some of the incredible interviews of my writing career.

So, to all the publicists who made that possible at this year’s ultra-fabulous Tribeca Film Festival, I say “thank you!!” And to those of you looking for a wonderful film to watch this weekend, I insist you make it about a Mechanical Man, who will win your heart and fill your dreams.
